ADVB: Advantage Square VAV Diffuser with Blade Dampers

Overview

The ADVB diffuser is a 24in / 600mm square ceiling VAV diffuser with built-in electric motor and controller providing VAV cooling and VAV heating. The bladed dampers move open and closed to meter air flow (warm or cool) into the room in response to room temperature. The damper is modulated by a robust DC motor. The electric motor, rigorously tested to provide many years of reliable service, drives the airflow dampers using a linkage mechanism. Room air is either sensed at the wall mounted thermostat, or at the diffuser using room air induction technology, for both cooling and heating.
