Sustainable buildings are designed to be environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout their lifecycle. For sustaining long-term usefulness, Therma-Fuser™ Systems are modular and adaptable to layout and programming changes, while influencing up to 21 LEED® credits.
Personal comfort is attainable. Each Therma-Fuser™ VAV diffuser acts as an individual VAV zone of control, providing temperature settings, maintained within 1½°F/0.9°C. No dumping, constant discharge velocity, higher throws, better room air movement, and uniform temperature distribution, define an optimized environment.
As U.S. Green Building Council members, Acutherm is proud to produce low pressure, energy-efficient, VAV diffuser systems that prevent overcooling and overheating – resulting in 10%-47% energy savings, when compared to other HVAC Systems.
Unlike a fixed-grill diffuser, a Therma-Fuser™ diffuser is a self-contained zone of control with built-in thermostat and VAV mechanisms. The Therma-Fuser™ Systems are accessible from the room-side, unlike other devices, which require above-ceiling access for ongoing maintenance and calibration. Both on a first installed cost and ongoing operational basis, the Therma-Fuser™ System is the most economical way to improve comfort and energy savings.
