Founded in 1885, The Severance Hospital of the Yonsei University Health System is one of the oldest western-style hospitals in South Korea. Additionally, it is has also been noted as the hospital of choice in Korea for Foreigners and especially US Military. The hospital has 3,700 beds, approximately 3,000,000 outpatients and 1,000,000 inpatients annually.
